What A Good Friend

Posted by Ron Fuhrman on December 3, 2012

The other day I was working on a devotional message and came across the story of Jesus and the events surrounding Lazarus’ death. While I was meditating on the story I came across some comments on how much He loved his friends. I then connected that story with the different ways that Jesus connected with the “sinners” and how those relationships really ticked off the religious guys. All of a sudden a thought hit me and in some way I could identify with the “sinners”. I know in my inner person how many times I have fallen short and have gone my own way but in some gracious way Jesus seeks me out as one of His friends. With all my faults and foibles He still wants to be with me as a friend. What a Friend, indeed!
